Introduction

I have chosen to dedicate my website to teaching the basic but very important information about pets and their care. We'll talk about the very important but not well-known information about vaccines, diseases, and general care. This does not mean you should diagnose your pet without actually seeing a veterinary professional. This is just to bring awareness to possibilities.

The Basics of Pet Care

Most people know the basics of pet care, Feed, Water, Walk, the occasional visit to the doctor, and of course, Cuddles. However, there is much more to know about the proper care for your pet(s) to make sure they have a happy and healthy life. For starters, you need to know your pet, know their breed, and what their specific needs are. Someone who has a husky would need to ensure that they do not overheat in the summer time, or for someone with a practically hairless chihuahau or cat, make sure they bundle up for winter. Dogs and Cats run at a higher body tempurature than humans, around 100-102 degrees farenhie, which is why they are more sensitive to warmer environments, and our short hair breeds are much more sensitive to the cold.
